D.I.Y. ZZP Big Brake Kit (Front)

1. Gather Your Tools / Parts -  ZZP Big Brake Kit (Ref Pic 1) - Assorted Sockets - Ratchets - Hose Crimps - Brake Grease - Drip Pan - Banjo Washers - Pry Bar - Pliers - Jack - Jack Stands - Brake Fluid - Bungee Cords - Caliper Paint (Optional) Recommend G2 Caliper Paint

2. This Would Also Be A Great Time To Paint Your New Brake System If You Wanted To.

3. Park Your Car . Engage Your Parking Brake / E - Brake . Chuck Your Rear Wheels . ! Safety First !

4. Jack Up The Front Of Your Car And Place Your Jack Stands. Remove Your Front Wheels (Ref Pic 2). Remove The 2 Bolts Holding Your Caliper On Use A Small Pry Bar To Free The Caliper And Use A Bungee Cord To Hold The Caliper Out Of The Way

5. Remove The 2 Large Bolts Holding Your Caliper Brackets On. Then Remove Screw Holding The Stock Rotor In Place Then Remove The Rotor

5. Once Done Get Your Drip Pan In Place And Use The Hose Crimps To Stop Excessive Dripping / Fluid Loss. Then Remove The Banjo Nut At This Point You Will Notice The Banjo Washer Is Stuck You Will Need To Use Pliers To Break The Banjo Washers Off

6. Now Prepare To Install The Banjo Nut Onto The ZZP 2 Piston Caliper. Place One Banjo Washer On The Banjo Bolt And Put It Through The Brake Line Banjo Then Place Another Banjo Washer On The Other Side And Tighten Down. DON'T OVER TIGHTEN THE CALIPERS ARE ALUMINUM IT WILL STRIP.

7. Install Your New Rotors (Ref Pic 3) The Drilled And Slotted Rotors Should Be In This Direction

8. Install Your New Caliper Bracket. Now Install Your Brake Guides Into The Brackets Use A Fair Amount Of Brake Grease And Slide Your Pads Into Place The Pad Facing The Motor Should Have The Pin On The Back Of The Pad

9. Slide The New Caliper Over The Pads And Tighten The 2 Bolts Into The Caliper Bracket. MAKE SURE THE BLEEDERS ARE FACING UP

10. Bleed Your Brakes. You Will Need A Friend To Help With This Process. Pop Your Hood Open The Brake Fluid Reservoir And Watch Fluid Levels At All Times. Always Start At The Farthest Point From The Master Cylinder When Bleeding But You Will Only Need To Bleed The Front 2 Brakes Unless You Let The Reservior Empty. So Start On The Passenger Side. Have Your Friend Pump The Brakes 5 Times Then Hold It To The Floor Then You Crack The Bleeder Valve For About 3-5 Secs
Then Close The Bleeder Valve And Have Them Let Off The Brake Pedal And Repeat 3-5 Times On Each Side To Bleed The Air From The System.

11. Once The Brake Bleeding Is Complete Reinstall Your Wheels. Remove The Jack Stands And Lower Your Car Down Remove The Wheel Chucks. Start Your Car And Pump The Brakes If The Brake Pedal Don't Tighten Up After A Few Pumps You Still Have Air In The Lines Repeat Brake Bleeding Process In Step 10 Of This D.I.Y.

12. Once The Pedal Stiffens Up The Job Is Done (Ref Pic 4)  VHT Caliper Paint (Ref Pic 5) G2 Caliper Paint. Get Ready For Some Hella Nice Braking Sit Back And Enjoy Your Hard Work!
